It’s before noon on the second day of NaNoWriMo, and I’ve already completed my word count. I will argue nothing in favor of their quality, but since last night and this morning I’ve written rather a lot.

So I’m off in the heat of the day to fill out paperwork for the job I finally got. I’m going to be an SAT verbal teacher at a college prep business in Plano. I’m not sure when I officially begin, but I hope it’s soon.
Am I reading a book? Of course. It has short stories in it and is edited by Michael Chabon, but I can’t remember the title. Something like Amazing Tales. Three stories in, it’s quite good.
